I just can’t get excited about Jimmy Choo for H&M. It’s too glam, too in your face and too bah. I can’t however wait fo the Sonia Rykiel collaboration with the Swedish brand. The first lot – lingerie and accessories – are hitting stores on 5 December followed by a knitwear range in February. Giant bow sweaters, 40s style waist clinchers? I can’t wait!

Playboy is celebrating the Simpson’s 20th anniversary of putting Marge on the cover. I’ve always loved old issued of Playboy, so inspirational in terms of hair and make-up!

Style muse: The Bright Young Things

Three cheers to excess, hedonism and fun. I love the 20s socialites that became known as the Bright Young Things. They propagated celebrity, pointless partying, elaborate fancy dress events and had their drug den houses coated in foil 40 years before Warhol’s Factory. Their modernity is still incredibly relevant and hasn’t lost any of its charm, shock value and appeal today.

I’ve just discovered Kleidkunst an online platform for new fashion designers and up-and-coming labels. Although the site is rather badly designed and a lot of the labels feature seriously lack in the fashion stakes, there are plenty of designers that have caught my eye.

My favourite find is Swiss label Goyagoya
