I’ve been infected with an irrational obsession with all things Westwood for quite some time actually. At the moment it’s this:

Nappa bag

Melissa court shoe in peach

Melissa in ruby
Basically, the whole Melissa & Westwood shoe collaboration is driving me mad. Where do I even start? Will I need to resort to shop lifting for lack of funds? And where on earth am I going to store all these shoes?
Pah, details…

For some reason my current style icon is Tony Curtis dressed as a millionaire yacht owner in Some Like It Hot. Bring on the thick-framed glasses and nautical-themed clothes!

I love these little scarves from Mouseshop.

I need to catch up on uploading articles for Queens so I’ve come to the British Library to avoid getting distracted at home.

After a week in bed with flu I’m finally feeling better and have the enormous desire to glam up my wardrobe. Not really a surprise since I spent the last six days in pyjamas.
I love this Elizabeth and James prom dress.

I am so not into fringing but it somehow works on this Gabriel & Schwan bag.

I love love love the French Nouvelle Vague, some of the best films ever emerged from this amazing cinematic movement. To celebrate the New Wave’s 50th anniversary, we’ve teamed up with the BFI over at QueensOfVintage.com to give away free cinema tickets, a DVD and a book. Do go and check it out, I’m more than jealous that I can’t enter the competition myself…

How could I not love a woman who has the same first name as me? I wish I had just an ounce of her style, class and talent.

I love this layered, theatrical look by German label Von Bardonitz. Their new collection is inspired by the German Revolution of 1848.

Why is there so much stuff out there I find nice? And more importantly: why is it always expensive? Today’s fantasy outfit, to be worn with black kohl eyes and a beehive.

Debbie Harry is the cool trashy punk blond Madonna always tried to be but never was. And I can’t stop listening to Atomic at the moment.
