I could watch Blue Velvet over and over again and yet get excited each and every time. The cinematography blows me away, the way the camera lingers, focuses on close-ups, zooms in on shots that would normally end up on the cutting floor.
This film makes me want to dress up both as my own noir femme fatale and American girl next door and stroll around urban suburbia.
