Street & Studio

This weekend I will be heading down to the Tate Modern to have a look at their ’Street & Studio: An Urban History of Photography’ exhibition. With works by Diane Arbus and Cindy Sherman on show, this could potentially be really good. Although this isn’t about fashion or street style, I feel that in portraits, a person’s style and sartorial choices take almost always centre stage.

There is something not quite right with this Topshop belted cape. The proportions don’t work, the fabric is too bland, the belt looks too cheap.
Sigh. I’ll never find a cape I like on the highstreet.
